Does Jay-Z address his feud with Kanye on ‘Everything Is Love’?

"We ain't meant to be friends.”

Jay-Z appears to dissect his feud with Kanye West on ‘Everything Is Love’, after his joint album with Beyonce dropped last weekend.

The pair collaborated on ‘Watch The Throne’, but reportedly fell out when Jay-Z and Beyonce failed to attend his wedding to Kim Kardashian in 2014.

And on album track ‘Friends’, it appears that Jay has finally addressed the reasons for his absence.

“I ain’t going to nobody for nothing when me and my wife beefing”, Jay raps on the track.

“I don’t care if the house on fire, I’m dying, nigga, I ain’t leaving Ty Ty take care of my kids, after he done grieving If ya’ll don’t understand that, we ain’t meant to be friends.”

Although Jay-Z is yet to confirm if the track is a reference to Kanye, the man himself recently opened up on the pain of Jay not attending his wedding.

“Respectfully, I have to say I was hurt that they didn’t come to the wedding,“ he told Charlamagne La God last month.

“I understand they were going through some things, but if it’s family, you’re not gonna miss a wedding.”
