Jennifer Lopez appears at Bronx record store

'Jenny' goes back to the block for signing

Jennifer Lopez surprised fans in the Bronx, New York yesterday (March 28) when she showed up a local record store.

A native of the borough, Lopez appeared at the store to sign copies of her debut Spanish-language album ‘Como Ama una Mujer’ (How A Woman Loves), produced by her husband, singer Marc Anthony.

Lopez is of Puerto Rican origin, and has said that she has long-wanted to record a Spanish album.

She has also supported her Latin roots in her acting career, playing slain Mexican pop star Selena Quintanilla-Pérez in a movie based on the star’s life and this year will star in ‘Bordertown’, a story in which hundreds of Mexican women were murdered, and the Puerto Rico-set ‘El Cantante’ alongside Marc Anthony.
