Bloc Party celebrate highest new entry on album chart...

JENNIFER LOPEZ has gone straight to the top of the UK single charts today (February 20) with ‘Get Right’ – her first number one in four years.

The diva has seen off a challenge from

Elvis and his constant flow of his re-released chart-toppers. This week it was

‘Surrender’ that just failed to make it, stalling at number two. Rap veteran LL Cool J enters at number three, two above The Game, who goes in at five with ‘How We Do’. Atomic Kitten’s chart return has not been as strong as they might have hoped. The girl group only manage

to enter at 10 with ‘Cradle’.

Embrace are the only other new entry on the top 20, just missing the 10 at 11 with ‘Looking as You Are’.

Further down, Willy Mason takes his British chart bow at 23 with ‘Oxygen’, ahead of Trick Daddy at 26 with ‘Let Go’ and Biffy Clyro at 27 with ‘Only One Word Comes To Mind’. The

mighty Death From Above 1979 enter at 33 with ‘Blood On Our Hands’.

There is very little movement on the album chart with Scissor Sisters and Keane remaining at one and two. Bloc Party are the only new entry, making their debut at three with ‘Silent Alarm’.
