BBC Sound Of 2011 Poll winner Jessie J is lining up a Christmas duet with Leona Lewis.
The 22-year-old, who is also set to pick up the Critics’ Choice Award at next month’s Brit Awards, has claimed the 2006 X Factor winner is already in talks to appear on the single.
“Leona and I want to do a duet together,” she told the Daily Record.
“Her voice intimidates me because she is so good. Her range is unreal but I feel we would complement each other.”
Jessie – real name Jessica Cornish – has said the song would be inspired by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston‘s 1998 duet ‘When You Believe’.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the Essex-born singer had finished ahead of the likes of James Blake, The Vaccines and Jamie Woon in the BBC Sound Of 2011 Poll.
