Jessie Ware shares non album track ’12’ – listen

Ware releases her second LP 'Tough Love' this week

Jessie Ware has shared a collaboration with Rhye’s Robin Hannibal online.

Listen to the demo of ’12’ below. To tie in with the release of her new album ‘Tough Love’, Ware tweeted a link to the song on Soundcloud, saying: “Thanks to everyone that has pre ordered Tough Love- 3.5hrs to go! But here’s something free, not on the album: 12”.

Ware’s second album ‘Tough Love’, was released today (October 13). On SoundCloud, Ware gave more information about about ’12’, saying: “I made 12 with Robin Hannibal last year at Red Bull Studios London. Loved him since hearing Quadron’s Average Fruit and although this track never made it onto ‘Tough Love’, it was a joy to work with Robin finally. This is a song for my Sam and I hope you like it, play it late and go kiss someone x”.


Ware has worked on her new album with Japanese production duo BenZel, Benny Blanco, James Ford, Ed Sheeran and Miguel as well as Drake producer Nineteen85. Debut LP ‘Devotion’ collaborators Dave Okumu, Kid Harpoon and Julio Bashmore were also involved.

The collaboration with Sheeran, entitled ‘Say You Love Me’, was revealed back in August, with Ware stating that it “elevated her as a singer”.
