Speaking to Zane Lowe on his BBC Radio 1 show earlier this evening (August 12), Ware revealed that the song was written with Sheeran in about 45 minutes in New York earlier this year. “It just kind of came,” said the London singer. “Something happened – there was amazing chemistry. I trust him so much.”

Ware will release her second album ‘Tough Love’ on October 6. As previously revealed, Ware has worked on her new album with Japanese production duo BenZel, Benny Blanco, James Ford and producer Nineteen85 on the LP. ‘Devotion’ collaborators Dave Okumu, Kid Harpoon and Julio Bashmore were also involved.

Jessie Ware recently announced details of a pair of UK shows for October, which will both take place in churches and coincide with the release of ‘Tough Love’. Ware will play at St John at Hackney Church on October 2, followed by Manchester Cathedral on October 3.

‘You & I (Forever)’
‘Say You Love Me’
‘Sweetest Song’
‘Kind of…Sometimes…Maybe’
‘Want Your Feeling’
‘Keep on Lying’
