Jet have revealed all about their long-awaited comeback single and second album.
The Australian rockers unleash new track ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’ on September 18, followed by the album ‘Shine On’ on October 2.
The follow-up to 2003’s ‘Get Born’ was recorded in Barbados, Massachusetts and Los Angeles with super-producer Dave Sardy.
And drummer Chris Cester did not mince his words about the band’s ambitions for the record: “The first album was written for pubs. This one is written for stadiums!”
Other tracks lined up to feature on the album include ‘Stand Up’, ‘That’s All Lies’, ‘Holiday’ and title-track ‘Shine On’ – written in tribute to the Cester brothers’ late father.
Jet can be seen in the UK at the Carling Weekend Reading And Leeds Festivals next month.
