Plans for the follow up to 'Get Born' are in full swing...

Jet revealed they went to a tropical destination over New Year’s to work on the follow up to 2003’s ’GET BORN’.

Speaking in LA, drummer/vocalist Chris Cester said plans for the new record were in full swing.

“We just got back from Barbados where we went to have a holiday and write,” he said.

The band recently contributed ‘Hey Kids’ to the ‘Electra’ film starring Jennifer Garner, but are now on a break with frontman Nic Cester and bassist Mark Wilson resting in their native Australia, guitarist Cameron Muncey in London and Cester residing in LA.

In a month’s time the band are expected to gather in LA, where they recorded their debut, to put down the second album.

“We went our own ways for four weeks to write on our own [but] we’re going to meet up again here,” he added.
