JILL SCOTT has been forced to cancel part of her forthcoming UK tour due to “unforeseen obligations” and “conflicting band member schedules”.
Scott had previously announced details of a UK tour, which called at the Edinburgh Liquid Rooms last night (November 12).
However, in a statement released today (November 13) by her record label Epic, it is revealed that a number of her regional dates will now be cancelled, allowing Scott to return to the US.
The cancelled dates are at:
Bristol New Trinity Hall (November 17)
Brighton Corn Exchange (18)
Manchester University (20)
Two shows at the London Shepherd’s Bush Empire on November 15-16 will go ahead as planned, but these will be the final dates on her tour.
Details on how fans can receive refunds will be announced shortly.
