To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the star's death, all the snaps - and unseen court transcripts - are available to view on the web...
Never-before seen photos of Jimi Hendrix have recently been unearthed in the archives of THE TORONTO STAR.
What was originally thought to be a handful of photos turned out to be 131 well-preserved negatives, which had been filed away, undisturbed for over thirty years. Included are shots from a 1968 CNE Coliseum show, as well as a much-bootlegged 1969 Maple Leaf Gardens concert.
Of special note to fans, photos of Hendrix‘s post-heroin bust court appearances have also been rediscovered.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Hendrix‘s death, which falls today (18 September), all photos, along with full court transcripts, have been posted at: [url=]www.eye.net/torontorockhistory/hendrix.
