The star is joined by Red Snapper and the hotly-tipped Simian...

JIMI TENOR, RED SNAPPER and SIMIAN perform a free gig at LONDON’s DINGWALLS on December 17 for BBC RADIO 3’s ‘MIXING IT’ programme.

The performances will take the form of a live, recorded session for the programme’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The show will be only Jimi Tenor’s second British live date of the year, following his performance with a 60-piece orchestra at the London Barbican in September.

NME.COM understands that Tenor’s performance will be accompanied by a smaller ensemble for this date. Red Snapper will be completing a successful run of touring following their critically lauded ‘Our Aim Is To Satisfy Red Snapper’ album, while the date will also see the debut live performance of the Mancunian psychedelic guitar act Simian.

Doors open at 7.30pm, while the recording of the show begins at 8pm. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis from 08700 100 300.
