JJ72 are to warm-up for their appearance on the NME CARLING TOUR by playing a low-key date at DERBY UNIVERSITY on January 20.

Thirteen:13 will support the band at the show, which comes the night before they start the NME-organised tour in Glasgow alongside Amen, Starsailor and Alfie (January 21). Tickets for the Derby show are on sale now, via local outlets.

To coincide with the tour, the band will release a new single, ?Snow?, on January 29 via Lakota. The single will be backed by brand new track ?Wounded?, the original demo of ?Surrender? and rare song ?Gherkin?.


A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM that JJ72 have been rehearsing “a handful” of new songs in recent weeks, although it is unlikely that they will be played on the Carling Tour, which calls at:
