JJ72 have announced details of their new single ‘ALWAYS AND FOREVER’.

The song, the second to be lifted from the group’s current album ‘I To Sky’, will be released on January 20 via Lakota.

The single has been completely re-recorded by producer John Leckie and will be backed by a new track called ‘Dog’, a live version ‘City’ recorded at The Pod in Dublin, a cover of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’ and a new version of the album track ‘Nameless’.

Speaking about the single, vocalist Mark Greaney said: “It’s half about a person and half about the idea of having a home and how comforting that is. And the idea of ‘Is there a heaven?’

“I’m trying to get as many questions as I can into a three-

minute pop song. I wanted the song to have a gospel feel to it.. but, damn it all, it’s Joy Division again!”

The video for the single was shot in a wood outside Prague last weekend by John Hillcoat, who has previously worked with the Manic Street Preachers.
