The rock veteran will appear in support of WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey
Joan Jett has been confirmed as a special guest performer at WWE’s annual WrestleMania event next week.
The 35th edition of WrestleMania will be held at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on April 7, with the centrepiece of the event set to be the first-ever ‘women’s triple threat’ title match between defending WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and challengers Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

Plans for the event have been stepped up further today (March 26) with the announcement from WWE that Jett will now perform live on the night. She’ll take to the stage to play her 1981 single ‘Bad Reputation’ as Rousey enters the ring.
“The Queen of Rock ‘N Roll, Joan Jett, is a music legend and icon for powerful women everywhere,” Neil Lawi, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the WWE Music Group, said in a statement.
“Her performance at this year’s WrestleMania promises to be both exhilarating and inspiring, and we are honoured to watch her join a distinct list of extraordinary performers who have lit up the WWE stage.”
Jett will follow the likes of Motörhead, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Kid Rock, Diddy, Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker by playing live at WrestleMania.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that L7 will release their first new album in 20 years on Jett’s Blackheart record label.
