Joe Strummer has announced an eight-date tour of the UK, his first with new band The Mescaleros.

The Mescaleros‘ debut single, ‘Yalla Yalla’, will be released on August 9 on Strummer‘s own label Casbah Records, through Mercury. It will be followed in October by the ‘Rock, Art And The X-Ray Style’ album.
‘Yalla Yalla’ was co-written by Richard Norris from The Grid.
