Joey Bada$$ cancels European tour following death of cousin Junior B

Rapper was due to begin run of live dates in Oslo, Norway last night

Joey Bada$$ has cancelled a series of live dates in Europe following the death of his cousin, Junior B.

Junior B was a member of the Pro Era crew and, as explained in an emotional post on Instagram by the rapper, an integral part in his rise. One week ago Bada$$ posted a picture of his cousin on Instagram, explaining that Junior B had been hospitalised with third degree burns.

Joey Bada$$ was due to start his European tour in Norway last night (December 7) with gigs in Stuttgart, Vienna and Poland also scheduled.

To my EUROPE fans: I have to cancel the rest of this tour… My cuz just passed and I can’t find the strength… I’m sincerely sorry
