The one-off gig will feature the likes of Manic Street Preachers‘ frontman James Dean Bradfield and Mark Lanegan.

Nico, real name Christa Päffgen, died in 1988 after a career as a model, singer, actress and keyboard player. She was a protégé of artist Andy Warhol, who orchestrated her collaboration with The Velvet Underground. She sang on their 1967 debut album ‘The Velvet Underground And Nico‘, contributing vocals to three of the band’s most famous songs – ‘Femme Fatale’, ‘I’ll Be Your Mirror’ and ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’.
