GOING GLOBAL!

NME.COM is first to bring you all the details...

JOHN DIGWEED, SANDER KLEINENBERG, SEB FONTAINE and DARREN EMERSON are all contributing mixes to what looks set to be GLOBAL UNDERGROUND’s busiest year to date.

John Digweed’s ‘Los Angeles’ will be the first album to be released through Boxed on February 26. The CD is based around a set the DJ performed at Los Angeles’ ‘Giant’ club at the end of a US Global Underground tour that featured sets from Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, Seb Fontaine, Steve Lawler and Nick Warren, as well as Digweed.

“He’s gone from strength to strength in the US”, explained Andy Horsfield from Global Underground. “The appeal of our albums has stretched well beyond the usual confines of the East and West coasts.”

The album will be followed by a mix from up-and-coming Dutchman Sander Kleinenberg as part of the Nubreed series on April 13, while the fourth in Cream resident and soon to be Radio 1 DJ Seb Fontaine’s ‘Prototype’ series appears on April 13.

Darren Emerson will then contribute his second mix to the series, with a set based upon his NYE set at Zouk in Singapore, which apparently broke the club’s attendance records with over 5,000 through doors throughout the course of the night.
