John Lennon lyric sheet expected to make £460,000 at auction

'A Day In The Life' lyrics to be sold in New York

A double-sided sheet of paper containing the handwritten lyrics to The Beatles‘ song ‘A Day In The Life’ is expected to make an estimated $700,000 (£460,000) when it goes up for auction this June.

The lyrics for the last song on the Liverpool legends’ 1967 album ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ are handwritten by John Lennon in felt pen and blue ink and contain corrections in red ink, reports BBC News.

The sheet will be sold by Sotheby’s auction house in New York on June 18. See for more information.
