London's ICA will host a retrospective of the star's brushwork - and he'll play a show there too...

JOHN SQUIRE is putting on an exhibition of his paintings to coincide with his new album.

From February 14-16, London’s ICA will play host to a retrospective of the former Stone Roses guitarist’s prolific career as a visual artist, including his sleeve paintings for both the band and his solo work.

Squire will also play at the ICA on February 9, the release date of his new solo album ‘Marshall’s House’. The show has been moved from its original venue of Islington Academy to tie in with the exhibition. Tickets to the original show will still be valid.

As previously reported Squire also plays Glasgow King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on February 7, and releases a single ,‘Room In Brooklyn’, on February 2.
