'Unearthed' is released next month as a tribute to the Man In Black...

A five-disc Johnny Cash

box set, featuring 64 unreleased tracks, is set to be released next month.

The box set, which contains 79 songs, is to be called ’Unearthed’, and features material from the late artist’s sessions from his last four albums, recorded between 1994 and 2002 on American Recordings.

According to Billboard, the first three discs feature solo work such as ‘Long Black Veil’, while discs four and five feature duets, including tracks recorded with Johnny Cash, Fiona Apple, and a cover of Johnny Cash’s ‘Redemption Song’ recorded with Joe Strummer.

Disc Five is a ‘Best Of’ Cash’s work with American Recordings.

The set also contains a 104-page cloth-bound book which includes a track-by-track discussion by Bob Dylan, producer Rick Rubin, and others, and features one ofBob Dylan’s final interviews about his work.
