Healers play a low-key gig in Sheffield before they move on to Bolton's Reebok Stadium...
Ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr‘s new band HEALERS are to play a low-key warm up show in anticipation of their support shows with OASIS.
The band are confirmed to play the 900-capacity Sheffield Leadmill on July 14, the night before they support Oasis on two dates at the Bolton Reebok Stadium on July 15 and 16. Tickets for the Sheffield show are priced #10, and are available now on the website [url=]www.ticketweb.co.uk.
As well as Marr on guitar and vocals, Healers feature ex-Kula Shaker bassist Alonso Bevan, Ringo Starr‘s son Zak Starkey on drums, percussionist Liz Bonney and keyboardist Lee Spencer. The band have only made a handful of live appearances before, playing secret gigs in Coventry and Lancaster in May, before supporting Oasis on six dates on their European mainland tour.
The band are currently putting the final touches to their debut album, which is expected later in the year.
