Is a joint album from Kanye West and Chance The Rapper on the way?

Make it happen.

Kanye West and Chance The Rapper are rumoured to be working on a joint album together.

In the last month alone, Kanye has released his own record, as well as dropping a joint album with Kid Cudi and producing new offerings from the likes of Nas and Pusha-T.

But despite the heavy workload, it seems that one more very special team-up could be on the cards.

According to Kanye collaborator Francis & The Lights, there’s rumours that Kanye is working on an album with Chance.

Posting on Twitter, one fan wrote: “Please tell us he has a couple more coming, maybe Chance.”

Francis replied: “I’ve heard rumblings of that yes, but he probably needs at least 6 hours of sleep right now.”

Francis later posted the exchange on Instagram, seemingly suggesting that he’s pretty confident of his knowledge.

The potential for a joint release from Chance & Kanye comes after the former defended Kanye over his controversial slavery comments.

When Kanye was condemned earlier this year, for suggesting slavery was a choice, Chance wrote on Twitter: “Black people don’t have to be democrats”.

He later backtracked on the support when it was picked up by President Donald Trump.

“I’d never support anyone who has made a career of hatred, racism and discrimination”, he wrote.

“I’d never support someone who’d talk about Chicago as if it’s hell on Earth and then take steps to make life harder for the most disenfranchised of us.”
