Paul Thomas Anderson to release documentary about Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood

Junun will premiere at the New York Film Festival

Director Paul Thomas Anderson is currently working on a documentary about his frequent collaborator, Jonny Greenwood

As reported by The New York Times, Junun will follow the Radiohead guitarist on a recording session in Rajasthan in northwest India, where he worked on an album with the Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur.

The film will premiere at the New York Film Festival, which takes place September 25 to October 11. Greenwood previously worked on the scores for Anderson’s films Inherent Vice, The Master, and There Will Be Blood.

The 43-year-old recently commented on Radiohead’s progress with their new album. He confirmed that the band are working in the studio “in periods” and that restarting the process “took a lot of time.”

Radiohead’s ninth album will be the follow-up to 2011’s ‘The King Of Limbs’.
