LIVE …LATER LEAVES LONDON

The UK live music programme leaves it's London studio for the first time...

Moby, Eels, Craig David, BILLY BRAGG and WILCO are to play at a special ‘On the Road’ edition of ‘LATER WITH JOOLS HOLLAND’.

The show will be broadcast live on BBC2 on May 28, from Southampton Guildhall.

A spokesperson for the show told nme.com: “It’ll be good to get out of the studio for a change, keep the show fresh. Hopefully Jools will be able to keep it all together live!”

TIckets for the event are free, and details on how to obtain them will be announced shortly.

This Saturday (May 20) sees the last regular ‘Later…’ in the current series, with Bernard Butler and ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr joining legendary folk guitarist Bert Jansch for a performance of Jansch‘s track ‘The Riverbank’. Lou Reed, Kelis and Broadcast also appear. The show is aired at 10.30pm.

As previously reported on nme.com, Butler has been working with Jansch since March, and appears on his forthcoming album.
