'Big Bushy Mustache' is taken from Shears' forthcoming debut album

Josh Homme has appeared in the new video from Scissor Sisters‘ Jake Shears, for Shears’ new track ‘Big Bushy Mustache’.

The song is taken from Shears’ forthcoming debut album, also titled Big Bushy Mustache’. It’ll be released on August 10 via Shears’ own label Freida Jean Records. He’ll be partnering with Absolute for the UK release of the record.

In the new video, Shears boasts about his mustache before he’s joined by a few extra stars, including Homme who shows off his very own mustache. Watch it below.

Last month, Homme invited Spiderman onstage as Queens Of The Stone Age performed at Belgium’s Rock Werchter Festival.

The frontman spotted a fan dressed as the superhero in the crowd, so he decided to dedicate a song to Spiderman, before instructing the audience: “Come to me. Bring Spiderman to me. Just carry him to me, would you? Be gentle with me.”

The fan made their way towards him by crowdsurfing to the front of the crowd and was taken up onstage. Once there, Homme and the superhero hugged and danced together, with the frontman saying: “You dance like a sexy bitch.” He then instructed him to “drink on the side of the stage until I’m done and then I’ll come find you.”

Spiderman didn’t move, which caused Homme to take his hand and tell him: “My Spidey sense is tingling and it’s saying get the fuck off the stage now. He made it from way the fuck back there all the way here. He’s going to make it all the way onto my bus.” The band then launched into ‘You Think I Ain’t Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire’.
