Joss Stone ‘kidnap’ plotters’ note reads: ‘Find a river to dump her in’

Officers also find a samurai sword and knives in suspects' car

Police investigating the alleged plot to kidnap and rob soul singer Joss Stone have discovered a note that reads ‘Find a river to dump her in’ amongst the possessions of her would be attackers.

According to The Daily Mail, police have also recovered a samurai sword, knives, a hammer, gloves and balaclavas from the car the suspects in the case were driving when they were arrested on Monday (June 13).

The suspects, who are Kevin Liverpool, who is 33, and Junior Bradshaw, aged 30, both from Manchester, appeared in Exeter Crown Court yesterday (June 16), but only to confirm their names.

Both men have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm. They have been remanded in custody and will appear again in court on July 1.


Stone also spoken for the first time about the investigation and has said she is “doing fine.” Speaking to Spinner, she said: “I’m fine. I’m all good. People are crazy, but that’s OK. I’m carrying on, I’m painting my bathroom. I’m baking cakes. All is well.”
