Two men charged with conspiracy to assault and rob Joss Stone

Police confirm men will stand trial over plot to harm singer

Two men have been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and rob soul singer Joss Stone, police confirmed last night (June 15).

According to BBC News, Kevin Liverpool, who is 33, and Junior Bradshaw, aged 30, who are both from Manchester, will appear before Exeter Magistrates Court today (June 16).

The men, who have been formally charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm, were arrested after a suspicious vehicle was seen in the Cullompton area of Devon near the singer’s home on Monday (June 13).

Bradshaw and Liverpool were reported to have been detained after police found swords, rope and a body bag in their possession.


Stone, who is currently preparing for a European tour, is said to be “doing fine ” and is being kept informed of developments by police.
