The StrokesJulian Casablancas has revealed the cover artwork for his debut solo album ‘Phrazes For The Young’.

The sleeve, pictured on the right, features the frontman mixing old music equipment with new. On Casablancas‘ left is an antique guitar with a modern fretboard, while a digital gramophone is to his right.

A dog appears to be pulling at Casablancas‘ velvet coat as he sits in the centre of the image, which you can also view at his official website, Juliancasablancas.com.

The release date for ‘Phrazes For The Young’ is yet to be confirmed, though Casablancas debuted tracks in public during his first solo gig in Tokyo last week (August 29).
