Jurassic 5 announce UK tour for 2014 – ticket details

The hip-hop collective will play four shows in June of next year

The original line-up of cult hip-hop collective Jurassic 5 are set to play four UK shows in June 2014.

Chali 2na, Akil, Zaakir, Mark 7even, DJ Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist will appear at Manchester O2 Apollo on June 19, London O2 Academy Brixton on June 20, Nottingham Rock City on June 24 and Bristol O2 Academy on June 25. Tickets go on sale at 9am on November 15.

The shows follow a UK tour which took place this summer as well as an appearance at the Parklife Weekender. The group – who officially disbanded in 2007 – kicked off their 2013 reunion shows at the Coachella Valley Festival of Music and Arts in California in April.

The group formed in 1993, and released their acclaimed debut ‘Jurassic 5’ in 1998. The band followed it with ‘Quality Control’ in 2000 and ‘Power In Numbers’ in 2002. Cut Chemist left the collective in early 2006, ahead of the release of their final album, ‘Feedback’.

Jurassic 5 play:
