Justice set to play huge one-off UK gig

The French duo will be heading to the UK next year

Justice are set to play a huge one-off UK gig next year, in support of their latest album ‘Woman’.

Justice announced ‘Woman’ back in September, sharing single ‘Randy’ on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show. They last released a full-length album in 2011, with ‘Audio, Visual, Disco’.

The band are set to play Brixton’s O2 Academy on September 29, with tickets going on general sale on December 12.

Earlier this month, the band released the video for their single ‘Fire’. Starring Hollywood actor Susan Sarandon, the video is directed by Pascal Teixeir and shows Sarandon and the French duo joyriding a convertible down a desert road.

According to a statement from Teixeira, the idea behind the video came after a “hot summer afternoon” of “collectively daydreaming about washing a car.” Sarandon was chosen to star due to her “iconic mix of cool, allure and strength.”

The French duo – comprised of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay – made their name through their remixes of tracks by the likes of Klaxons, U2, MGMT and particularly with their 2006 remix of ‘We Are Your Friends’.
