Meanwhile, Justin Bieber recently made a surprise appearance at a small gig in Angola, Indiana, joining a covers band on drums.
The pop star crashed a gig by local band Bonafide at The Venue bar in Angola. Band member Heidi Herber told local TV station WANE that Bieber had initially tried to keep a low profile. “He just looked like a normal kid in the bar, except for the hat and hoodie. We had no idea [he was going to be there], in fact, he was one of the first people in the bar.”
When Bieber was spotted however, Herber said the gig became a “social media frenzy”, adding, “The phones started to come out. Social media is extremely powerful.”
