A pair of lucky winners are being flown to Australia for two nights while the pop singer is in New Zealand
A radio station in New Zealand has run a competition to fly listeners out of the country when Justin Bieber touches down for a pair of live dates in November.
The pop singer is bringing his ‘Believe’ tour to New Zealand’s capital city of Auckland for two shows at the Vector Arena on November 23 and 24. The dates will be Bieber’s first full-scale shows in the country following a pair of intimate promotional performances, one taking place in 2010 and the other in 2012.
However, two lucky competition winners, Tom from Kaiapoi and Nathan from Deanwell, will each be able to escape the country with a companion during so-called “Bieber Fever” after texting the word “tweezer” to The Rock FM and then answering their phone with the phrase: “Justin Bieber is a tweezer.”
Their prize comprises a pair of return flights to Australia’s gold coast, two nights’ accommodation, “enough cash for food and beers” and “some decent rock albums to restore your faith in music”. Watch a trailer for The Rock FM’s Escape Bieber Fever competition below.
Meanwhile, Bieber hinted yesterday (September 13) that he is reading for the role of Robin in the forthcoming Batman v Superman movie. The singer posted a picture of what looks like the film’s script on Instagram together with the caption “#robin ??”.
