Justin Bieber’s bodyguards under investigation for assault

Security team allegedly roughed up a fan who tried to take a photograph of the singer

Justin Bieber‘s security team are under investigation after being accused of assaulting a fan who tried to a photograph of the singer.

Bieber was in a hookah lounge in Hollywood when the incident occurred. A source told gossip website TMZ that a bodyguard tried to stop the person, who was not a press photographer, from taking the picture when a scuffle ensued.

The alleged victim called the police but Bieber and his entourage were already gone by the time they arrived. Law enforcement sources said that police have opened a misdemeanour battery investigation but made it clear the singer himself is not a suspect as it’s unclear whether he had any role in the incident.

Last week the singer ordered his security guards to take a camera from a paparazzo after snap shots were taken of him outside Miami’s Hit Factory studio at 4am. The Canadian star was caught on video screaming at his entourage to ”grab that camera! Get that f***ing camera out of here”. The photographer managed to get his camera back, although Bieber responded: ”Alright, alright. I’m gonna give you your camera back. I’m gonna take your SIM card though.”

It’s the latest in a long line of incidents involving the singer which include his late stage arrival at London’s O2 earlier this year, scuffles with photographers while in the capital, and, of course, his pet monkey being held by officials in Germany as he didn’t have a licence to transport the animal.
