Police find drugs on Justin Bieber’s tourbus

Swedish cops also detected a 'a strong smell of marijuana' in the vehicle

Swedish police have found drugs on Justin Bieber’s tourbus.

According to reports, officers who had been posted outside the pop singer’s hotel in Stockholm to control the gaggle of fans who had gathered outside to catch a glimpse of him, caught a whiff of cannabis on his tourbus, which was parked outside.

“The police went onto the bus and searched it and found a small amount of narcotics,” police spokesperson Kjell Lindgren said. “We don’t know who had the drugs or who smoked them, so it will be hard to link them with any individual.” The drugs have been sent for analysis and police do not plan further action unless they get more information.

It’s not been the best week for the teen pop star, after it was revealed that he abandoned his pet monkey Mally in Germany after it was seized by customs officials in Germany last month. The Bieber-monkey is being kept in quarantine by customs on the German border after the teen pop star attempted to get the animal into the country without the correct legal documentation.

According to a spokesman for the Munich animal clinic where Mally is currently residing, the singer’s management team in New York contacted them this week, asking them to find a “safe and sheltered place or a zoo” for him. “We have to discuss now the way forward with customs officials and other responsible departments,” he said.
