Justin Bieber wanted for questioning by police after scuffle with photographer

Photographer complained to police after alleged fight in a shopping mall

Justin Bieber is wanted for questioning by police in LA after an alleged fight in a shopping centre on Sunday (May 27).

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Robert Wiard said the photographer called emergency services on Sunday after an alleged scuffle broke out when he tried to take pictures of Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez as they walked out of The Commons shopping mall in Calabasas, The Telegraph reports.

Wiard also said that the photographer was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released. He says Bieber and Gomez left before police arrived, so investigators want to get their side of the story.

Reports have also suggested that Bieber may have lost his hat and shoe during the incident.

Gomez wrote on her Facebook page the same day: “Thank you so much to my fans for always protecting me and being there for me. I can’t thank you guys enough. I’m sorry I had to rush out. Love you guys.”

Last week, the pint-sized pop star revealed that only the love of his fans stopped him from quitting music altogether. Speaking about the pressures of fame, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “There were so many times when I just wanted to say, ‘Enough is enough, I don’t want to do this any more.'”

Bieber will release his second album ‘Believe’ on June 18.
