Justin Bieber denies ‘malicious’ claims that he has fathered a baby

Singer denies that he is the father of a three-month-old-child

Justin Bieber has insisted that he has not fathered a child and that a paternity lawsuit filed against him is “malicious” and “false”.

Celebrity publication Star Magazine claims to have obtained court reports by a 20-year-old woman named as Mariah Yeater, who has alleged that Bieber is the father of her three-month-old-child. Although the Star Magazine website is currently not working, the story is still being reported by partner publication Radar Online.

Yeater, who is asking the singer to take a paternity test to “scientifically confirm” that the child is his and provide her with child support, claims that she and the teenage sensation had sex in October last year after he performed at the Staples Centre in LA.

However, a representative for the singer has insisted that the allegations are unfounded.

In a statement issued to US Weekly, they said: “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursues all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”

Justin Bieber released his Christmas-themed album ‘Underneath The Mistletoe’ earlier this week (November 1). His manager claimed that the star found it difficult to record a duet of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ with Mariah Carey as his “balls have dropped” and his voice is not as high as it used to be.

The singer recently revealed that his second album, ‘Believe’, will feature collaborations with hip hop stars Kanye West and Drake. The LP is reportedly set to be released next year.
