Bieber tries to go incognito in the Netherlands, but fans suss him out
Justin Bieber was spotted out and about in Amsterdam yesterday (October 7) rocking a not entirely convincing disguise.
Fans took pictures and video clips of the singer wearing a fake goatee and moustache and a distinctive curly-haired wig as he popped out for coffee in the Dutch capital. “Does this look real?” he asks passers-by in the video clip.
Bieber begins the UK and Ireland leg of his Purpose World Tour next Tuesday (October 11) with the first of four shows at The O2 in London. He will also play multiple dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow and Dublin before heading into mainland Europe, and then back to The O2 in London again in late November. He previously played in the UK over the summer at V Festival, though not all fans were entirely happy with his performance.
Meanwhile, skating magazine Thrasher has recently criticised pop stars like Bieber and Rihanna, as well as actors like Ryan Gosling, for wearing their merchandise.
“We don’t send boxes to Justin Bieber or Rihanna or those fucking clowns,” Thrasher editor Jake Phelps told Hypebeast when asked about the brand’s growing popularity with celebrities. “The pavement is where the real shit is. Blood and scabs, does it get realer than that?”
