Justin Bieber wants to auction his dreadlocks for charity

Stylist says Bieber has kept hair he shaved off in April

Justin Bieber may auction off his dreadlocks for charity.

Bieber shaved his hair in April, following criticism that his dreadlocks were appropriating black culture.

The singer’s hairstylist Florido said Bieber is now thinking about the charity move. Florido told Cosmopolitan: “We still have the dreads. Now we might slang them for a charity.”

Florido added that Bieber is happy with his newly shorn hair, saying: “He looks like a young Brad Pitt. He’s into it. It’s always shocking to come from long hair to short hair. But, as soon as he walked out of his dressing room for the first time, everyone was into it. No-one had ever seen him like that since he was a little kid.”

Bieber had denied the dreadlocks were an attempt to appropriate black culture, saying it was simply an attempt at a different image. He said on Instagram: “Being weird is fun. If you are not weird, I don’t like you.”

Major Lazer’s next single ‘Cold Water’ features both Bieber and MO, while Bieber and Skrillex have both denied copyright claims that their collaboration ‘Sorry’ copies Casey Dienel’s song ‘Ring The Bell’.

Bieber headlines V Festival in August, before touring the UK in October. Justin Bieber will play:
