Dennis Graham started his career as a drummer in Memphis in 1962
Dennis Graham started his musical career in Memphis in 1962, recently announcing his return earlier this year following his son’s worldwide fame.
In January, Graham wrote on Instagram that he was “in search of a classy female rapper to collaborate with me on my new single” and that he wasn’t “looking for [a] ghetto style rapper”.
Now Graham has uploaded a photo of himself with Bieber to Instagram, hinting on a possible team-up in the caption: “We have a surprise coming soon, stay tuned”. See that picture beneath.
Speaking to XXL in 2013, Graham said that he began making music by “playing the tin round tubs that people used to take a bath in. I used it as a bass drum. I had a broken mop handle that was used up, I used that as a mallet. But that’s how I got started. Then I finally got my first set of drums. James Brown made his drummer give me his drums.”
