James Corden and Justin Bieber cover Alanis Morissette as pop star returns to Carpool Karaoke

Bieber returned to regular 'Late Late Show' feature in week he releases new album 'Purpose'

Justin Bieber returned to James Corden’s regular Carpool Karaoke feature for a second time last night.

The pop star, who released new album ‘Purpose’ last week, jumped into the passenger seat alongside The Late Late Show host as they sang a number of Bieber songs together, including recent hits ‘What Do You Mean’ and ‘Sorry’. Bieber first appeared on Carpool Karaoke earlier this year.

The ‘Carpool Karaoke’ skit is a regular segment of Corden’s late-night US TV chat show, which sees the presenter drive famous people around while they sing along to the radio. Others to have taken part over the past year include Stevie Wonder and Rod Stewart.

Bieber told Corden that he cried watching The Notebook (“I’m an emotional guy, man”) and the pair also sang and danced to both Alanis Morissette’s ‘Ironic’ and ‘Stronger’ by Kanye West.

Corden also took Bieber clothes shopping, only to get annoyed when his guest “totally pulled it off” when he put him in a wild outfit. The pair chatted about Bieber’s nude photo being leaking online too. “It definitely felt, like, really invasive,” Bieber explained.
