Justin Bieber tells fans he’s “struggling” in Instagram post discussing his mental health

"Just feeling super disconnected and weird..."

Justin Bieber has opened up about his struggles with mental health in an Instagram message to his fans.

The singer posted an old picture of himself alongside Kanye West and manager Scooter Braun along with a request for his fans to “pray for me”

He wrote: “Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird.

“I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on..”

Last month, Bieber opened up about his troubled past and battles with depression and drug addiction in a candid interview with Vogue.

“I was real at first, and then I was manufactured as, slowly, they just took more and more control,” he said.

“I started really feeling myself too much. People love me, I’m the shit—that’s honestly what I thought. I got very arrogant and cocky. I was wearing sunglasses inside.”

Bieber’s last album was 2015’s ‘Purpose’, which saw him perform 150 concerts in 40 countries in just sixteen months. He cancelled the final fourteen shows during that run and has yet to release another LP.

In January this year, however, his manager Braun teased that a fifth record could soon be on the way.
