JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE was the big winner at last night’s MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS in EDINBURGH.

Timberlake picked up the awards for Best Album for ’Justified’, Best Pop and Best Male.

Elsewhere, Beyonce picked up awards for Best R&B and Best Song for ‘Crazy in Love’.


During the show Travis performed ‘The Beautiful Occupation’ with 125 ‘naked’ friends, The Darkness came down from a spaceship to perform their single ’I Believe In A Thing Called Love’, and this week’s NME cover star Kylie performed her single ’Slow’.

Also, Kraftwerk made their first ever television appearance and White Stripesplayed live.

Across the city at Princes Street Gardens, a free gig was held featuring performances from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Jane’s Addiction, and The Chemical Brothers with Flaming Lips.
