R KELLY has held on to the top of the UK singles chart for a second week with his single IGNITION, while JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and STEREOPHONICS have both scored high new entries this week (May 25).

Justin’s Rock Your Body went in at Number Two, with Stereophonics close behind with Madame Helga at Number Four. Other new entries in the Top 10 were Tatu at Seven with Not Gonna Get Us and Love Inc at Eight with Broken Bones.

Elsewhere in the Top 40 singles, Audio Bully’s went in at Number 22 with The Things/Turned Away, and Evan Dando’s Stop My Head went in at 38.

In the album charts, Deftones have scored the highest new entry with their self-titled album going in at Number Seven, followed by Staind at 16 with Shades Of Grey. The Dandy Warhols’ Welcome To The Monkeyhouse went in at Number 20, while at the lower end of the charts veterans George Harrison and Bruce Springsteen had new entries at Numbers 29 and 36 respectively (Brainwashed and Greatest Hits), while Cerys Matthews’ solo effort Cockahoop went in at 30.
