Justin Timberlake‘s concert film will be released exclusively on Netflix next month (October).
The streaming service has picked up global rights to Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids, which was directed by Oscar-winning Silence Of The Lambs director Jonathan Demme.
The film tells the story of Timberlake’s final date on his 20/20 Experience World Tour, which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in January 2015. It will debut on Netflix in all territories on October 12 after premiering at the Toronto Film Festival early next week.
Sharing a trailer for the film on Twitter, the singer wrote: “Who’s ready to #TimberlakeAndChill? Me & @TheTNKids. On @Netflix. Starting October 12th. #Netflix.”

Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience World Tour ran from November 2013 to January 2015, eventually taking in 134 dates worldwide. It supported the singer’s third and fourth solo albums, ‘The 20/20 Experience’ and ‘The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2’, both of which came out in 2013, spawning hits including ‘Suit & Tie’ and ‘Mirrors’.
The singer confirmed in May that he is working on a new album, and said that he is collaborating with longtime producers Pharrell Williams and Timbaland, as well as trying to set up a duet with The Weeknd.
