Justin Timberlake shares surprise single ‘SoulMate’ and says he and Drake could work together again

The pair previously collaborated on Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience'

Justin Timberlake has released a surprise new single and discussed the likelihood of him working with Drake again.

The singer released his latest album ‘Man Of The Woods‘ earlier this year. In a three-star reviewNME wrote: “Do not be fooled by JT’s new outdoorsy image. The smell of aged leather, woodsmoke and school orienteering trips might ooze flagrantly out of the soul marvel’s new look, but he’s still the funky pop magician we know and love.”

Now, Timberlake has dropped a surprise new track called ‘SoulMate’. The single was produced by Nineteen85 (Drake, Nicki Minaj). The YouTube description for the track reads: “SUMMER STARTS NOW.” Listen to ‘SoulMate’ below.

The star recently told Complex he had been discussing collaborating with Drake again. “We’ve talked about [working again] a lot,” he said. “I don’t wanna say too much because I don’t wanna jinx it, but we’ve talked about it a lot.”

The pair previously collaborated on Timberlake’s ‘The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2‘ album in 2013. Drake appeared on the track ‘Cabaret’.

Meanwhile, Timberlake postponed his European tour and cancelled three shows earlier this year. The star was due to begin the tour in Paris on June 22 but pushed that date back to July 3.

The singer’s show at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro was moved from July 5 to July 7, while the Birmingham and Manchester gigs were moved to August 27 and August 29 respectively. Tickets for the shows are available here.
