KAISER CHIEFS TO PLAY TSUNAMI BENEFIT CONCERT

And it will be in the band's Leeds hometown...

Kaiser Chiefs are to play a one-off hometown show in LEEDS to raise cash for victims of the Asian tsunami.

The group will play at the Joseph Wells club on Friday (January 7) with all proceeds going to disaster benefit fund.

The group, who will play the opening slot on the forthcoming Shockwaves NME Awards Tour in February, release their debut album ‘Employment’ on March 7.

The album, made with Smiths producer Stephen Street, is preceded by the re-release of debut single ‘Oh My God’ on February 21.
