The Kaiser Chiefs have sold out a record breaking ten dates for the NME 02 ROCK‘N’ROLL RIOT TOUR.
The band, who together with The Cribs and Maximo Park, were originally signed-up to play five dates this autumn, however this was doubled immediately after all the tickets were snapped up in minutes last Friday (July 22).
All ten dates are now sold out, so the bands have been coaxed into doing yet more shows for those who missed out, which NME.COM can exclusively reveal now – October 20 at Leeds Town Hall and October 27 at London Brixton Academy.
Tickets for these dates will go on sale at 9am on July 27. For ticket availability, [url=]go to NME Tickets or call them on 0870 1 663 663.
The full NME O2 Rock N Roll Riot Tour now calls at:
Manchester Apollo (15, 16)
Leeds Town Hall (18, 19, 20)
Birmingham Academy (22, 23)
Brixton Academy (25, 26, 27)
Glasgow Academy (29, 30)
Confirming the final additions to the tour, [a][/a]’ frontman Ricky Wilson said he hoped the extra dates meant everyone who wants to see the tour now can.
“I don’t want any of my mates ring me up asking for guest list, they should have tried to buy a ticket first,” declared the singer. “I don’t want to have to deal with about 50 emails on the day of every gig. My mates always go, ‘I would have brought tickets but I didn’t think it would sell out that quick’. That’s great, thanks for the support!”
