Kaiser Chiefs head to Iceland

The Leeds five-piece will be performing at the Airwaves festival

Kaiser Chiefs will headline this year’s Iceland Airwaves festival alongside Wolf Parade and Brazilian Girls.

Jenny Wilson and Love Is All will also perform at the four day event, which is set to take place in Reykjavik between October 18-22.

Airwaves, now in its eighth year, is designed essentially to promote local Icelandic talent including Mugison, Apparat Organ Quartet and Leaves, who are all set to appear on the bill.

Over 120 acts will perform at the festival.

Meanwhile, the Kaisers are set to kick off their spring tour at Glasgow‘s SECC later this month.
