A mural depicting a scene from Kanye West‘s controversial ‘Famous’ video has popped up in Melbourne.
The video – released in June – featured lifelike figurines of West, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian, among other high-profile celebrities. The clip saw all the stars share a bed together.
Upon its release, Lena Dunham called the video “sickening”, while Taylor Swift was reportedly “horrified” by it.
Following news that the figurines are up for sale for $4 million, a mural has now appeared in Melbourne, showing West laying in bed next to wife Kardashian and rival Swift. See below. The art piece is thought to be by the same graffiti artist that painted a mural “in memory” of Swift earlier this year.
West recently explained the theory behind the video, saying that “it’s a comment on fame. It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video].”
Kanye also took to Twitter the morning after the premiere, tweeting “Can somebody sue me already” along with the hashtag #I’llwait.
